Child safety standards

Platform commitment

Circle is a social network intended for users aged 13 and over. The safety of children and teenagers is our absolute priority. We are committed to complying with the Google Play standards and the applicable child protection laws.

Prohibited content

The following is strictly prohibited on the Circle platform:

• Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Content depicting or promoting the sexual abuse of minors
• Grooming, luring or harassing minors
• Sharing children's personal data without the consent of a legal guardian
• Content promoting violence against children or their abuse

Age limit

The Circle app is intended for users aged 13 and over. By registering, the user confirms that they are at least 13 years old (with parental consent under 15). Accounts found to belong to younger users are cancelled and their data deleted.

Protective measures

• Photos and videos are checked both automatically (Digital Eye, directly on the phone) and by hand; offending content is not published
• A system for reporting inappropriate content available to all users
• Investigation and removal of reported content without undue delay, usually within 48 hours; suspected child abuse takes priority
• Cooperation with law enforcement authorities in cases where children are at risk
• Private profile — posts are visible only to followers; blocking and muting of users
• Reporting of problematic users and content to the app administrator directly in the app

Reporting harmful content

If you come across content that endangers children's safety, report it directly in the app with the “Report” button or write to us at abuse@digital-ecosystem.cz. Reports are reviewed by the app administrator by hand, usually within 48 hours; suspected child abuse takes priority.

Suspected criminal activity involving child abuse is reported without delay to the Police of the Czech Republic and to the Stoponline.cz hotline (INHOPE); where the Google Play rules require it, also to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
