What is Circle

A feed made of
the people you follow

Circle shows you TrustBits from the people you follow. Trust Score affects how visible a profile is, but trust and reach can never be bought. It is a Czech project: the app, the server and the support are all in the Czech Republic, and the Android app is currently in closed beta.

When will Circle be publicly available?
We are currently in closed beta testing. We plan a public launch as soon as testing is finished and beta feedback has been worked in. We are not announcing an exact date yet, so keep an eye on our news.
What is Trust Score and how do I raise it?
Trust Score is a trust rating for your profile. It grows with honest behaviour and by following the rules, and drops when they are broken. We do not publish the exact formula so that it cannot be gamed. The higher your Trust Score, the more visible your profile is.
Is Circle free?
Yes. All network features (TrustBits, stories, messages, Circles, Trust Score) are free. You only pay for looks in the Shop (frames, badges, themes and chat bubbles), and even there some items are free. Trust and reach cannot be bought.
What is Circle+?
A subscription for 79 CZK a month or 389 CZK a year through Google Play. It includes frames, themes and chat bubbles from the Shop (badges and seasonal items are not included), post statistics, the names of people who viewed your TrustShot, fonts and stamps in captions, full-quality photos and videos up to 3 minutes, a custom app icon and chat backgrounds. Never reach or Trust Score; those cannot be bought.
What are Circles and "Find a group"?
In Messages you pick a topic (say #photo) and a group size. Circle finds people who post about that topic and offers you a group, which you accept or decline. A group has a shared thread (comments under the group's public post), a 7-day challenge and a leaderboard: everyone posts once with the group hashtag, the best response wins the round and an extra Circle Opening. Members get the invitation as a message and nobody sees anything until they accept. Searching is free three times a day for everyone, regardless of subscription.
What are Circle Pro and Circle Opening?
Circle Pro is a subscription for creators at 199 CZK a month or 1,190 CZK a year: everything in Circle+ plus scheduled posts, up to five links in your profile and more detailed statistics. Circle Opening is opening a crate with a random look for a few days. Openings are not sold: every user gets one a day, regardless of subscription, and the odds are shown in the app beforehand.
How do Shop purchases work?
Through Google Play: you see the price including VAT before confirming, Google processes the payment and Circle never sees your card. The item unlocks immediately and stays with your Google account; after reinstalling, restore it with the Restore purchases button.
How do I get beta access?
Fill in the form on the Czech home page. We process requests by hand and send the Google Play invitation by e-mail. Processing time depends on the number of requests, usually within 7 days.
Where is my data? Is it safe?
Posts, messages and profiles are stored on our servers in the Czech Republic, not in a foreign cloud. Sign-in and notifications run on our servers too. Passwords are stored only as hashes and all traffic is encrypted with TLS. See the Privacy policy for details.
Does Circle work on iPhone?
Not yet. Circle currently lives in an Android app. The web version for iPhone and desktop is ready but locked; we will open it once it is finished. A native iOS app is on the roadmap.
Are my messages private?
Direct messages are encrypted between devices and the keys stay on your phone, so not even we can read their contents. The rules are described in the Terms of use.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, at any time. In the app go to Settings → Delete account and confirm with your password; the account is deleted immediately. Without access to the app, write from your registered e-mail address to info@digital-ecosystem.cz with the subject "Smazání účtu — Circle" and we will delete it within 7 working days. The steps are on the Account deletion page.
How can I support Circle?
The biggest help is showing the app to friends and reporting the bugs you run into. If you also want to contribute to running costs, you can join the Founders' Club: a one-off membership gives you a number and nickname in the Founders' Hall and one advisory vote on the next cosmetics collection. The Club grants nothing in the app — no badge, no Circle+, no beta access — and never trust, reach or Trust Score. It is currently offered to customers in the Czech Republic under Czech terms.
