Account deletion

Please note: Account deletion is irreversible. All of your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

What gets deleted

Profile — username, profile photo, bio
All TrustBits (posts), photos and videos
All TrustShots (stories)
All direct messages and conversations
Likes, comments and other interactions
Kruhy (groups) — your group memberships and the groups you created
Trust Score and its history
Drafts of unsent posts
Reports you submitted (both bugs and content)
FCM token (push notifications stop working)
Sign-in credentials (e-mail and password hash)

What stays

Purchases recorded with Google Play — managed by Google under its own terms
Messages that have already been delivered to the recipients' devices
Records required by law (for example for purchases) for the statutory period

Backups: Data disappears from the server immediately, but may still exist for some time in operational database backups. These are overwritten continuously and the record disappears from them within 30 days at the latest.

How to delete your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account, confirm with your password and the account is deleted immediately.

Without access to the app (forgotten password, lost phone) you can request deletion by e-mail:

Send us an e-mail
From the e-mail address your account is registered to, send a message to info@digital-ecosystem.cz with the subject "Account deletion — Circle" and include your username.
Verification (only from a different address)
If you write from an address other than the registered one, we will ask you to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.
Deletion within 7 working days
We delete the account and all of the data listed above within 7 working days of receiving the request.
Confirmation by e-mail
We will send you an e-mail confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Send an e-mail to the address below with the subject "Account deletion — Circle" and include your username. Write from the e-mail address registered in the app.

Timeframe

Processing the request — we delete the account and data within 7 working days of receiving the request (or, where verification from a different address is needed, of completing it)
Backups — all content is removed from backup systems within 30 days
