A wallet without plastic cards
Instead of a stack of cards in your wallet or ten store apps, you have every card in one app.
-
Added in seconds
Scan the card's barcode or QR code with the camera, or type the number. Pick the store from a list of Czech stores or add your own.
-
At the checkout
Tap a card and a large barcode appears. The screen goes to full brightness so the checkout scanner reads it first time.
-
All cards in one place
Albert, Billa, Kaufland, Tesco, dm, Rossmann, IKEA Family, petrol stations and more. Plus a photo of the card and a note.
-
Most used on top
Favourites always come first, the rest by how often you use them. Open your most used card straight from the app icon.
-
Only on your phone
No account, no server. Your cards stay on the phone and back themselves up to Downloads / Digital Cards – after a reinstall you restore them with one tap. You can lock the app with your fingerprint.
-
Home screen widget
Your favourite cards as coloured tiles on the home screen. Tap one to open the card ready for the checkout. The widget never shows card numbers or barcodes.
-
Czech and English
Czech or English, light and dark theme and a guide. After an update it shows what is new, and you can report a problem right from the app – without any card data.
-
Your data, your call
Delete all cards, photos and settings in one go. The backup in Downloads is deleted too only if you tick it.
-
Free, no ads
No ads, no tracking of your shopping, no subscription.
Three steps
- Install
Download the APK from this website and open it. No account, no sign-in.
- Add your cards
Scan the barcode from your plastic card with the camera, or type the number, and pick the store.
- Show it at the checkout
Tap the card – the screen lights up and the cashier scans it just like the plastic card.
Download Digital Cards 1.1.1
The app is free.
Android

- Android asks whether to allow your browser to install apps. Allow it (just for this install).
- The app then offers new versions itself and downloads them from here.
The app is still in beta: it is new and we are only now testing it on real phones – if something does not work, let us know. It is not on Google Play, you install it from this website. You can check the APK is intact with the SHA-256 checksum above.
What you need
- Phone
- Android 8 or newer. Scanning with the camera uses the code scanner from Google Play services; without them you type the card number in.
- Cards
- Any card with a barcode or QR code (EAN, Code 128, QR and more). Common Czech stores are on the list, any other you add as your own.
- Internet
- The app works offline. It only connects to our website to check for a new version – nothing about you or your cards is sent.
- Data
- Your cards are stored only on the phone. Back them up to a file in the app's settings.
Before you start
Will the checkout accept a card on my phone?
In most stores, yes – the scanner reads the barcode from the screen just like from the plastic card. Some older laser scanners cannot read screens; then the cashier types in the number shown under the code.
Is this an official store app?
No. Digital Cards just stores your card numbers and shows them as a barcode. Store names are only there to tell your cards apart; we do not work with the stores and do not use their logos. Coupons and store offers are in the stores' own apps.
Does the app send my cards anywhere?
No. It has no account and no server. The only connection is the update check on our website.
What if I uninstall the app?
After every change your cards are backed up to the Downloads / Digital Cards folder, which stays on the phone after uninstalling. After a new install the app offers “Obnovit ze zálohy” (restore) – it opens that folder and you just tap the file. You can turn the automatic backup off in settings; the file is not encrypted.
What if I lose my phone?
You can lock the app with your fingerprint or the phone lock. To be safe, back up your cards to a file and keep it off the phone – then import it on a new phone.
